What is IASTM?

Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) is a hands-on technique that uses specialized tools to work on targeted muscles, fascia and other soft tissues. The tools let the provider address specific areas precisely rather than treating the whole region the same way.

IASTM may be used when tight or restricted tissue is affecting movement, for example after repetitive strain, previous injuries or scar tissue. It can be used on its own or alongside chiropractic care and myofascial release.

Once we have gathered all the information, we will explain the results and discuss how we can help you. We will also present a treatment plan that fits your needs and budget, along with additional recommendations for stretches and exercises to do at home.
